Chorleywood and Rickmansworth are set in to the North West of London, beyond the suburbs where the countryside really starts nestling just this side of the Chiltern Hills. The towns, villages and surrounds are beautiful Chorleywood Common, the River Chess, the Aquadrome, the Grand Union canal and extensive woodlands provide endless natural pleasures and offer the full range of shopping, schools, transport and other services. As well as an extensive and eclectic array of local shops in the village streets, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Tescos, Sainsbury and others all feature. Sports centres, restaurants and cinema screens are clustered around. The local state schools are uniformly of a high standard (some of them featuring at the top of the league tables both at primary and secondary level). For those interested in private education, we are well served here as well with the likes of Merchant Taylors, Berkhamsted and others, within easy reach, and ably supported by the local prep schools. The rail links into London are second to none with the Metropolitan Line going to the heart of the city, via the West End, and the Chiltern Line providing a high speed modern service into Marylebone. The M25 is close by, from which you have easy access to the whole country (the M1, A1, M40, M4 and M3 are only a few junctions away). One small note of caution: we provide the access to the motorways, what happens on them is entirely your concern Schools:
